1 Kings 12-14; Chronicles 17 – Rehoboam succeeds his father, Solomon, but squanders the chance to rule in righteousness. Eventually, Jeroboam of the northern tribes leads a rebellion and Israel is split in two. What do we learn from the failings of these two leaders? How can we improve as leaders? Jehoshaphat  later leads Judah in righteousness.
